Our Sales Agreement

At the time we put the puppies on the market, we begin to receive many responses to our ads. We try to be fair to people by allowing serious buyers to put a deposit down on a puppy to secure the buyer’s choice of sex and color. We allow people to come  visit our home and make their choices in person anytime after the pups are 6 weeks old and have received their first vaccinations. We are aware that people cannot always do this and we are happy to make selections for the buyer when asked to do so. 

We ask for a deposit to secure a puppy until time of pick up. This deposit is nonrefundable.  Buyers who change their minds put us at a disadvantage in our ability to market the puppy at a later age. We will return deposits if the selected puppy dies, becomes incurably ill or for any reason becomes unsuitable for purchase. 

We expect that buyers will come in person or send a family member to pick up the selected puppy at 8 weeks of age.  We expect that full payment be made on or before pick up at 8 weeks. We accept personal checks for the down payment up until 1 week before pickup but require cash on the day of pickup.  Please feel free to ask questions about our policy and we do consider situations arising out of a buyers control.

Misty Hollow Labs Health Guarantee  

Misty Hollow extends the following warranties. Guarantee only to:

We guarantee all papers on registered puppies. We make no guarantee of your puppy’s mature size or weight or that it will be of show or breeding quality. Your puppy will come with Limited AKC Registration. Full registration will be given if you choose to Spay/Neuter your puppy.
We warrant against life threatening congenital defects for the first year after purchase. You must request a written statement from your veterinarian on his/her office stationary and signed by him/her stating health problem/s which includes all symptoms supporting his/her diagnosis to validate this guarantee.
We warrant the health of this puppy for a period of 2 business days after receipt of the puppy. Within that time you must have this puppy seen by your veterinarian, at your expense, or all warranties are null and void. You must notify us on the day your vet makes the initial examination. The puppy must be returned within 24 hours of the examination with all registration papers. If you choose euthanasia without our prior consent you will forfeit all guarantees within this contract. You agree to fill out all necessary forms that return ownership of your puppy to Misty Hollow Labs.
We do not warranty against any condition caused by carelessness, negligence, or abuse. We do not assume liability for any injuries to the puppy after it leaves our possession. You are also responsible to safe guard your puppy’s health and obtain medical treatments when necessary. We are extremely diligent in our care and protection of them from birth until transfer of ownership to you, the new owner. We have done everything possible to ensure that they are healthy and well adjusted.
Our responsibility for veterinarian fees, treatment costs, transportation costs, stress, or other expenses shall not exceed 50% of the purchase price of your puppy. All sales are final and irreversible except for those guarantees contained herein.

Disclaimer: Due to the fact that puppies naturally get worms very easily as they will chew on anything that they can get their mouth on we do not guarantee our puppies for worms. We follow a deworming schedule and do our best to keep our puppies and their pen clean.
